The mission of the Black Writers' Guild of Maryland,
Inc. is to provide avenues of support and networking to Maryland's African-American diverse writers.
Major programs and activities:
- Workshops that educate writers on the aspects of writing and publishing.
- Showcases to provide forums for writers to find their
voice through public presentations of their work.
- Mentoring to youth and adults who have an interest in finding their literary voice.

Meetings are free for current members. Annual membership is $35.00. For
all others, the donation is $5.00. Bring a friend!
