further notice. Please see our upcoming meetings listing for meeting registration.
Advance registration is required and closes
three hours before the meeting starts. Meetings are free for BWG members and $5.00 (plus Eventbrite
fee) for non-members.
Everyone's

mission of the Black Writers' Guild of Maryland, Inc. is to provide avenues of support and networking to Maryland's African-American
diverse writers.
Major programs and activities:
- Workshops that educate writers on the aspects of
writing and publishing.
- Showcases
to provide forums for writers to find their voice through public presentations of their work.
- Mentoring to youth and adults who have an interest in finding their literary
voice.
Come join us! Our meetings are held virtually the first Saturday of the month (September
to June) from 1 p.m to 3 p.m.
Meetings
are free for current members. Annual membership is $40.00. For all others, the donation is $5.00. Donations can be made
