Registration for Meetings/Events



The mission of the Black Writers' Guild of Maryland, Inc. is to provide avenues of support and networking to Maryland's African-American diverse writers.

Major programs and activities:


  • Workshops that educate writers on the aspects of writing and publishing.
  • Showcases to provide forums for writers to find their voice through public presentations of their work.
  • Mentoring to youth and adults who have an interest in finding their literary voice.


Come join us!  Below are the meeting dates/locations for the remainder of 2016.  We meet from 1 p.m to 3 p.m.

Saturday, September 17; Saturday, October 15; Saturday, November 19; Saturday, December 17 - Enoch Pratt Library, 1303 Orleans Street, Baltimore, MD 21231

Meetings are free for current members. Annual membership is $35.00.  For all others, the donation is $5.00. Bring a friend!
